Trial: Day 4

The People’s witnesses dove into toxicology and the collision scene investigation for the most part of today. Questioning and cross examinations were detailed and lengthy.

In the late afternoon, the Court agreed to call witnesses out of traditional order due to scheduling conflicts, and the Defense called its first witness. The Court will return to the prosecution’s witnesses on Monday.

Court will be dark tomorrow, Friday, August 20. Trial will resume at 9 a.m. on Monday.

And, in case you missed it, an update from Wednesday in the Appeal Democrat this morning, “Police body cam footage played in court during Addison trial.”

Really praying hard for comfort for this precious family. I've lost 2 children but it wasn't by the hands of someone else. While I can relate to the loss, I can not even fathom the pain and other emotions this trail is bringing for them. May God wrap them in the comfort of His arms and fill them with the peace of knowing that their wonderful boy is in a far better place waiting to be reunited with them 🙏🏻♥️
