On March 9, 2023, a Petition for review was filed in the California Supreme Court. On April 12, 2023, the supreme court denied the petition, and on April 21, 2023 the 3rd District court of appeals issued the Remittitur and closed the case.
Sutter County Courts should now pick the case back up and schedule resentencing as required by the 3rd District Court of Appeal opinion.
