We are missing Alec but are incredibly thankful and humbled by the fact that justice was achieved. The time and consideration the jury gave to this trial is truly appreciated; we know it wasn’t easy. We also thank everyone in the District Attorney’s office, the witnesses, and the Court for their perseverance and careful handling of the entire case. We have the deepest gratitude for the people who stopped to help Alec on October 7, 2019. For everyone who has supported us this far. Your actions have helped hold us up the last two years and will continue to do so. The board members, advisory boards, donors, and athletes of the Alec Flores Youth Sports Scholarship Corporation are also greatly appreciated. Each one of you has helped us shine some light back into the community in Alec’s memory. We hope we can continue this good work for a long time to come.
